About Vie Active
We are so excited that it is Vie Active’s first birthday this week up and we cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you have shown us over the past year! You have all helped us to get to where we are today. In celebration we want to provide you- our supporters, with some insight into our brand, what we value and why we choose to live an active life.
Proudly an Australian brand, Vie Active was created by co-founders Noa and Bryan Ries who strongly believe that being fit and healthy is a passionate choice for life and that fashion and function can coexist.
Vie Active was created to fill the void of fashionable and chic high performance active wear that can be worn from the studio to the street. Noa says that ““As a trainer and a mother, I would often find myself still in my exercise clothing at 4pm, and I knew that there had to be something other than lycra — something that would let me still feel fashionable and chic but that could handle the intensity of a tough workout”. From here, Vie Active was born.

Co-founder Noa, answered a few questions about her vision for Vie Active and her active life.
1. Where did you get the name Vie Active from?
When we first had the idea for the business we knew from the beginning that we wanted to create something that was much more than just clothes. We wanted to create a movement and to celebrate the benefits of living an active life. As Bryan is half French we looked to that language for inspiration. Vie Active means "Active Life" in French.
2. What sets Vie Active apart from other activewear companies?
Our commitmment to using the very best technical fabrics fit for purpose for each one of our garments and fusing these with fashionable prints.
3. What do you value in an activewear garment?

4. How are you able to simultaneously maintain an active life and run your own successful business?
Living an active life is such a huge part of who we both are. We both actually need to be active in order to run our business as it helps us to think straight, feel happy and full of energy ( particularly necessary with two young children at home as well!)
Noa and the team have been dedicated to working tirelessly to develop the Vie Active range. These garments are both functional and flattering for the female figure and can perform throughout intense workouts. Features including flat seams, hidden pockets, modern design and most importantly performance fabrics such as Merino wool and F3 Compression set Vie Active garments above the rest.
