Felicia and Diana are two of the most inspirational women we have met! They are sisters who have grown up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. But, even though they have travelled all around the world, they still find Sydney their favourite place to live an active life! In Felicia's own words, she loves that she can hang out at the beach, go on a massive shopping spree and eat at some of the best cafes.
This week we caught up with them to find out how they live an active life and why being active is so important to them!
1.What do you do, how did you get started in the health & fitness industry etc?
F & D: We are both personal trainers and health and lifestyle coaches. We have always loved training in the gym and after Felicia had her little one, we decided to join forces and inspire women to get back in shape after having children. From there we branched out and started training women of all sorts and now we have clients all over the world on our system.
2. How do you live an active life, what’s your favourite way to stay fit?
F & D: Our lives are quite similar in that we are always busy running our personal training sessions and bootcamps, which keep us on our toes all of the time. When we aren’t training people, we are in the gym ourselves, lifting weights. We love to workout in the gym and lift heavy weights, we train 5-6 days per week. All of this, along with doing lots of grocery shopping and housework keeps us very active and super fit.
3.What does living an active life mean to you?
F & D: Training hard, keeping busy doing what we love and always striving to be happy, healthy, fit and strong for ourselves and of course our families.
4. A lot of your training involves lifting weights/strength training, what are some of the common misconceptions you hear about women and strength training?
F: I’m going to get too big and bulky
D: I need to do cardio to burn fat

6. What will we always find in your gym bag?
F: Water, I pod and my Nike squat shoes
D: Water, Beats By Dre and activated nuts for a quick snack.
7. What does your morning routine look like?
F: Wake up, have some warm lemon water, followed by a massive Bare Blends smoothie bowl.
D: 5am start, long black followed by a bowl of scrambled eggs, sauerkraut and cherry tomatoes
8. How do you wind down and relax after an active day?
F: Chilling out with my family at home and doing absolutely nothing
D: Relaxing on the couch listening to chill out music
9. What do you look for in activewear?
F: A great fitting pair of tights, we do a lot of squats and deadlifts and we need to ensure we are always covered in the right way.
D: Pieces that are comfy, stylish and make you feel sexy. Oh and of course they must match with our Nike shoe collection.
10. What are your favourite Vie Active Pieces?
